Not a travel day.
Off to Oasis Preserve Palm Springs with Laurie, a friend of M's from Vancouver. Palms like short red woods bunched tightly together along springs resulting from the San Andreas Fault. Good pic opportunities abounding. B stayed home in the bus. Large Mexican lunch for the four of us afterwards; all hungry. Back to Casa Verde for bike ride which included M's uncle and grandfather's houses from the 1950's sun setting behind the mountains after shining in the afternoon quite nicely.
Off to Bob Sabatini's house for a whidbey expatriates dinner which may include Frank G., Barry S. of yore. We shall see; got to freshen-up for that right now.
